I loved, loved, loved shooting this beautiful milk bath maternity session for Alison. Milk baths are such a great option to show off gorgeous pregnancy curves in a graceful and beautiful way – and Alison looks like a goddess, wouldn’t you agree?

Isn’t it just amazing how us women can grow a baby inside our bellies? At least it’s something worth documenting. I did just that for beautiful Rachael and her cute pregnancy bump at Darook Park in the Sutherland Shire.
I photographed beautiful Caitlin and her gorgeous bump at Camellia Gardens in Caringbah/Sutherland Shire. Doesn’t she just look divine in her beautiful long dress? I love capturing that special time in a woman’s life that is so filled with anticipation and love for her unborn baby and partner – all represented in her swelling belly.
Lisa’s Maternity session is giving me all the fairytale vibes: The moody weather on the day, the quiet forest and Lisa herself looking a bit like I imagine Snow White to look like (minus the red bow).
Being in front of the lens instead of behind it for my maternity pictures has taught me so much! First of all: Wow, it is incredibly hard putting yourself out there, heavily pregnant with swollen ankles, sore hips and back and a body that feels a bit foreign and is impossible to move around with in any sort of graceful way.
To photograph Sasha’s gorgeous bump we went to Carss Park where there is a lovely little beach and a bit of greenery around to capture beautiful maternity portraits.
I recently had the rare opportunity and privilege to photograph this wonderful mumma of an 18 month old girl and pregnant with twins! Yes, twins! It’s incredible, I know, and look how she’s swinging and whirling her daughter around in the air.
For the second part of Kim and Andrew’s maternity session we went to Sydney’s Royal National Park to get a different vibe and more variety. These pregnancy photos were taken in Audley, near Audley dance hall and the boat shed. I love the rustic autumn afternoon atmosphere that this location provides.
Emily and Michael are expecting their first baby in less than a few weeks – a little boy!
Here is what’s crazy: Kimberly’s waters broke the day after these photos were taken – two weeks before her due date!
