Capturing your baby from head to toe and memorising all their unique, tiny features is what your newborn session is all about.
There is no pressure for your baby to achieve a certain pose. I’m here to capture your love and connection for your precious, newborn baby. I do this by gently guiding you and Bub into poses that are authentic and look natural.
The client wardrobe has become my clients’ most appreciated service and for very good reason. All pieces are chosen or even specifically designed to fit the dreamy and neutral aesthetic of my newborn photography, and more importantly: To fit your changing body.
The client wardrobe is such a great way to save money on buying a new outfit and save time (of which us mothers have usually none to spare).
For siblings, there is also a kids wardrobe sizes 1-8
Once you and your baby are comfortable and settled, you can choose from a variety of props for your newborn session. I love soft and organic colours and textures: Pastel, earthy colours, dried native florals, soft knit blankets and swaddle wraps are some of the elements I work with to create a natural, organic and timeless look for your photographs.
Then it’s time to sit back on the sofa and watch me in my element. I don’t look at the clock when I photograph your baby. There will always be plenty of time for you to cuddle, feed and comfort your children and for me to capture them from head to toe, making sure I get every angle.
A newborn session should be a stress-free experience and so it is my priority to provide a calming environment for your shoot, where you and your newborn baby feel welcome and well looked after.
The ideal time to photograph your newborn baby is within the first two weeks of their life. If you miss that time-frame please don’t worry. There is plenty of newness and freshness still to capture with an “older” newborn baby
